SoapCycle was never really about soap.
It’s about making self-care a little more simple. One less thing to remember. One less thing to run out and buy. A monthly reminder to take care of yourself.
When I started Studio 23, my goal was never just to sell products. It was to create a place where people felt cared for. SoapCycle is simply an extension of that mission.

💙 A little reflection today.
Yesterday, I had the honor of attending the wedding of a client, who over the years had become a wonderful friend.
As I watched the couple begin this new chapter together, I was reminded how grateful I am for the role I get to play in people’s lives.
One of the greatest gifts of this profession isn’t the hair, the products, or even the business. It’s the relationships.
Over the years, I’ve celebrated engagements, weddings, new babies, career changes, retirements, and countless milestones alongside the people who sit in my chair. I’ve laughed with you, cried with you, prayed for you, and cheered you on through life’s ups and downs, and you have done the same for me.
That kind of trust is a gift, and I never take it for granted.
Moments like yesterday remind me that the real blessing isn’t what I do—it’s the people I get to do it with.
Some careers serve people. Some careers build relationships.
I’m grateful that mine allows me to do both. 💙

Today was a big day for Studio 23 as I met with our manufacturing partner to review liquid soap and lotion samples and take another step toward bringing our vision to life.
But my favorite part of the day was stopping by my mom’s house on the way home and letting her try the samples first. ❤️
She’s been my biggest cheerleader long before there was a Studio 23, SoapCycle, or a trailer.
When she asked if she could keep the lotion and I told her “No ma’am,” we both had a good laugh. 🤣
Behind every small business is a story, and behind mine is a mom who always believed in me.
