It’s time for our yearly reminder! 😬😬

Please refrain from coming to your hair appt if you are sick at all. This includes, congestion, nausea, body aches, fevers and anything where you feel the need to let me know it’s “just a cold”.
As you know, we are in close quarters in the salon and if one of us gets sick, it creates an entire domino effect for ourselves, our clients and our families. We also have a baby in our salon family and we would like to keep her healthy!
Please understand, I am not trying to be harsh with this. We do not get paid sick days. We also have to come in on our days off to make up clients.

I do anywhere from 6-10 clients on any given day. If I get sick and am out for 4 days, I have to reschedule 25-40 clients. Currently, I have less than 15 appts available for the remainder of the year.
So please, even if it’s just a cold, stay home! It is much easier to reschedule one person than 40.

If you have to reschedule, I will do everything in my power to get you back in!!

My schedule is now open until the end of December! As always, I appreciate if you are able to book your appointments out in advance. I do realize that it seems insane to even be bringing up the holiday season, but it really is around the corner and appointments tend to sneak up on everyone! I promise you’ll be glad you have this checked off your list! If you come every 8 weeks, you only have TWO appointments left for the year! Feel free to message me or book online (link in bio).

Just a few dates to remember:

-October 10-20: I will be out of the Salon

-MONDAY, November 24th: I have opened this one Monday up before Thanksgiving.

-November 27-December 1: Closed for Thanksgiving

-December 24/25: Closed for Christmas

-December 26-January 1: I will be out of the salon

Jake and I will be leaving around lunchtime tomorrow with the trailer of donations. These donations will be going to directly to some of the smaller towns who have received little to no help.
If you would like to donate today, I will be at the salon all day. If you need a donation picked up, please let me know.

-baby bottles(with the disposable bag if possible)
-CHEWABLE BENEDRYL(huge need)
-adult and baby diapers/wipes
-canned food with a pop top
-can openers
-cleaning supplies
-batteries/flashlights
-2 cycle fuel (for chainsaws etc)
-snack with you protein and nutritional value
-gluten free snacks(I have seen a need from the celiac community)
-hand sanitizer
-hygiene products
-damp rid
-bug spray/sun screen
-hand warmers
-first aid kits

Completely heartbroken for the place I love so much. Most of the places in these photos are gone or look drastically different. I am thankful for our friend’s safety. So many people are still stranded, have lost family, pets, friends and their homes. People who live near rivers have lost acres of land bc the river is wider now in some places. Local restaurants and stores that are able to be open are being ran by employees who lost their homes. Right now, nothing else matters aside from coming together and helping our own people. We can’t wait for the government or anyone else to come to their rescue. Posting how sad you are for these people and yelling through Facebook at the government will not help these people. Donate what you can, help fund the people who are able to physically go rescue and bring donations and don’t be so quick to forget about the people who are just a few short hours away from us. Sympathy isn’t enough. They need all hands on deck as there was no way they could’ve ever prepared for this.

If you haven’t made your Christmas appointment, please get with me soon or book online!! I am completely booked for September and October and only have 3 haircut spots left for November.

Posting this on the main feed to remind everyone that I post availability updates on my story regularly! (This will change by the end of the day! These are available appts as of 8am on August 20th).

With school sports and events starting back up, I understand schedules can change! If you know there is even a small chance that you will need to cancel your appt, please let me know as soon as you know so I am able to have someone “on call” if you end up needing to cancel. Please do not wait it out if you’re feeling sick or if your kids are sick.

PLEASE do not come to your appt if you are not well. We are in close quarters and I will likely catch whatever you have. As will my coworkers and their families. This includes colds. If you show up sick to your appt, you will be asked to reschedule.

As hairstylists, we do not get paid if we aren’t there. I am booked out months currently. If I have to be out bc of sickness, everyone’s appts will be out of wack. So please be mindful of this.

I am filling up quick for the fall season! I appreciate everyone who has booked their appts until the end of the year!! I highly recommend getting that done asap. These appts available below are throughout all times of day. However, there are not many evening spots left. If you normally come in the evening or late afternoons, please book as soon as possible at least through October.

Below are how many appts you have left until the end of the year:
4 weeks: 5 appts
6 weeks: 3 appts
8 weeks: 2 appts

I do realize it is July and 100° outside🙃 but it’s also crunch time for appts and we are leaving one busy season and heading into a busier one! I know I sound like a broken record, but please book your appt! I work hard to get everyone in and this is the best way to make that happen smoothly.
