Just sharing this for anyone who has ever had a mysterious rash and loves essential oils! My friend and I discussed this yesterday because we’ve both had issues with skin breakouts, even when diluted. My dermatologist told me “You have sensitive skin and should not be putting EOs on your skin”. She also said she’s had several patients with skin breakouts from EOs. An esthetician also told me many years ago…it can break down the skin barrier. I didn’t believe her back then! I still continued to use them and have had ongoing issues with rashes. Now I’m trying to determine if I can at least use the Revive brand Vanilla oil mixed with aloe & a carrier oil, to apply to my skin safely. Anyone else had a rash like this and wondered what it was? I think it’s better to diffuse or use them for cleaning… if you are not sensitive to the smells because that can be a thing too!
