I absolutely love when a client tells me, "hey im a simple, low maintenance girly." To me that doesn't tell me that they are lazy or they don't know how to do their hair. What that tells me is that they somewhere down the road decided they were going to embrace their true beauty and be themselves. So many of us don't take advantage of that and work with what we got. There is nothing wrong with having hair pinned up or keeping length short. Its my job to show you how to work with what you have. Face framing, whispy bangs, or the right layers help you emphasize the look most call "low maintenance". This client has a little wave but needed some shape and movement without her hair being long. She will most likely have better hair days now without a lot of effort to make it do something.

Well my kid said last week "mom, im ready." In my house that means either a cut or a color lol she wanted to take a big step and get color. Back to school I will cut the color off and she will be ready for school.

Listen... I love an opportunity to turn lemons into lemonade. My client came in with this grown out blonde in the back and she was thinking about covering it and adding a partial light warm chocolate tone to her hair. I said wait. This blonde is actually really pretty and I think we should add it to the chocolate tone. After a moment of explaining she said let's do this. We ended up with this gorgeous mid shadow melt that gives no regrets 🙌 a haircut with a good trim. Brought up the layers and yes to curtain bangs. Can not chef's kiss this enough. Im now offering a mid shadow melt because its now my new favorite 💜👏🙌

I don't know why the "Y2K" look is a thing but the chunky colors are back.

Summer Sun set vibes 💛🧡🤎 life gave us lemons today and we said, " where's my little umbrella?" 🍹 Sometime the hair doesn't do what we want it to do but we had a back up plan and it turned out so gorgeous 🙌
