I AM Enterprise

I was excited to learn that I was nominated to attend the State Of Women Summit but even more ecstatic to have been chosen! Words can not express how grateful I am for this opportunity. I was honored in February by Mayor Frank Jackson and the City of Cleveland for the "Faces of Sacrifice" now being acknowledge for the work I do in the city for the youth on this level has me beyond humbled. Being apart of this summit will allow me to gain information on funding and how to take my non- profit organization "I AM ENTERPRISE" to the next level, as well as networking with thousands of like minded women from all over the world. Grateful for the vision of the POTUS and the FLOTUS.

"There’s a lot that’s been done by and for women and girls, but there’s still plenty to do. Convened by the White House, this Summit will rally all of us together to celebrate what we’ve achieved, and how we’re going to take action moving forward. Covering key gender equality issues, we’ll make a powerful difference in our collective future".

Congratulations to the visionary and CEO of I AM Enterprise, Alaina Holloway-Carpenter, who has been selected as an honoree for the city of Cleveland's "Cleveland: The Faces of Sacrifice" program in honor of Black History Month. As you know, Black History month continues through February 29, 2016 and while others will be recognized for their accomplishments throughout various events within the month, we are proud that our very own Alaina will be one of the honorees during today's opening ceremony on Monday, February 1, 2016. Please, join the I AM Enterprise team in helping us celebrate Alaina for her contributions, work, investment and sacrifice in the lives of our youth.

Today we rejoice with Mack'Taja Baldwin, one of I AM Enterprise's 2015 Spring/Summer mentoring boot camp participants, her mother Joyce Swann and their family who received proper justice against the brutal attacks they have suffered as a result of being a victim of bullying. We are proud and humbled that the "I AM Enterprise" mentoring program was able to serve this young lady by giving her the tools necessary to work on increasing her own positive self esteem and other life changing principles - the building blocks needed to help provide her and her family the strength needed to continue to walk toward healing. At "I AM Enterprise" we believe and we are committed to being an extension.

The self esteem building principles of I AM Enterprise's 6 week mentoring boot camp are designed to be building blocks each participant can use to apply to every area of life while on the journey to reach his/her goals. While I AM Enterprise is neither a modeling or talent agency nor affiliated with any such agencies we are proud to be an organization that helps to fan the flame in the lives of mentees hoping to realize dreams. We are proud to announce our very own, Braxtyn, from the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer I AM Enterprise class of 2014, 2015 who was selected as one of 300 from a pool of 1000 aspiring models for a face-to-face interview with some of the industry's leading agencies after attending the 2015 model search with the Cynthia Bailey Modeling and Talent Agency in Atlanta, GA. Out of these 300 hopefuls, Braxtyn was chosen as one of less than 10% slated to receive a call back from an industry-leading modeling agency. CONGRATULATIONS, Braxtyn, on the courage to follow your dreams and on being a leader who is confident, poised and polished. The entire I AM Enterprise staff and wishes you great success! While it was a hard fought battle, it was successful because of your sacrifice in choosing to be a part of in whatever part, big or small, you were able to provide.
