Cosmetologists and barbers are trained, licensed, and uniquely positioned to be at the forefront of a reopening strategy because we are regulated by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and the Barber Board.

We already operate under the highest of infection control standards. And we know our stuff when it comes to keeping our staff and clients safe. That is what we do!

My first day back on the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber board, I made a Motion to vote on scheduling future board meetings on Mondays. Motion PASSED!!!
This will allow salon professionals to have a comfortable seat at the table on their day off for discussions.

Did you know that 17 year-olds can register to vote and cast a ballot on May 8? If they turn 18 by November 6, 2018, they can vote for candidates in the Primary Election! This student at St. Joe’s Academy shadowed at the CCDP and organized voter registration at her school.
