My father-in-law was completely panicked a few days ago when he received a phone call, the person on the phone claimed he was our son Frank, and was asking my father-in-law to bail him out of jail, and he was in big trouble and needed him to come up with bail money and that a bails bond man would be calling him for his banking info.

Of course, this totally shook up my father. He got it very nervous and very panicked and honestly could have caused him to have a panic attach. This person was very convincing to my father in law.

Luckily, my father-in-law called my husband right away, and my husband assured him that our son Frank was not in jail, but at work and not do answer the caller if he called back.

Thank goodness, my father-in-law was smart enough to give my husband a call, as he was ready to give this person money.

Please tell your senior parents and senior friends to beware of these type of calls, and not to share any banking or credit card information with these stupid crazy people !!

This was the 2nd time this happened to my father in law, a few years ago when our son was in college.
