so because life is sweet, here’s an after pic of my high school tennis partner after she gave me full control of her hair. it’s grainy because the sun peaces out on me before i could get her picture but 😍😍 she came in with basically virgin hair but she did NOT leave that way! it also took almost 4 hours, so i’m thankful for her sweet patience.

of course I didn’t get a before, but we came a long way in one appointment! from multiple zones of faded brunette tones, and big, chunky, disconnected, asymmetrical highlights to soft, blended, balayage inspired highlights 😍

for so long I’ve focused on in-salon hair. but then women come along who ask me if I do hair for weddings and I’m always so excited at the chance to step outside the day-to-day and do hair for someone’s most special day of their lives, and it’s just the best.

loving color and cut allows me to think about styling in a technical way, and I love enhancing the style with the right highlights and layering. but then in the ends the what means the most to me is that gorgeous smile on the bride’s face and THAT’s when I know I did my job.
