The Lord blessed me with a talent and a profession that truly fulfills my heart. Being able to wake up every day and do what I love is something I never take for granted.

Beyond the Clippers: training helps me be more focused and helps a lot with my ADHD. The complex where I live has a gym that I use when I don’t have time to drive back and forth to eos… besides training I am always connecting with my students to check on them! I always say that at students are not just a number, and I mean it! After graduation they have me as their mentor for life!
Another thing I really enjoy doing is connecting with future students that come in for a tour.

For many years, our industry was stagnant and undervalued. Society made people believe that the only way to become successful and achieve great things in life was through college. Maybe that was true years ago, but times have changed.

Here’s a quick reminder for all of you: you can build a successful life as a professional barber. You can travel the world, buy the house you’ve always dreamed of, provide for your family, and live an amazing life doing what you love behind the chair.

Here’s what separates the professionals from everyone else:

The rules of the game:

1. Always go the extra mile for your clients.
2. Consistency is everything.
3. Create a welcoming environment where people feel comfortable and valued.
4. Don’t chase money. Focus on serving people the right way, and the money will follow.
5. Understand the difference between price and value. People will always pay more for an unforgettable experience and high-quality service.

Beyond the Clippers: working, calling my students, recording content, training… these are some of the things I do when I am not teaching!

Being a barber and now mentoring students gives me a lot of freedom and flexibility! Thats one of the things I love about being a barber. I don’t have to follow a 8-5 schedule like most jobs. I created my own schedule, that fits my lifestyle!
I was never a good fit for a job that I needed to clock in and clock out 😬 I got fired a couple times before becoming a barber (not proud of that but thats the truth!).

Twenty-something years cutting hair and I still feel something when a client gets up out of the chair happy.

If you just met, you might think I just run a school.
I cut hair. I teach. I clean towels. I take out the trash. I sit at the front desk. I answer DMs.

This is the part of the work most people never see.
