4 Things to Maintain Beautiful Red Hair Color👇🏽

1. Avoid shampooing every day - I know that can be hard during the Fall or with your workout schedule, but every time you shampoo, the color will fade. ☑

2. Use Heat Protection - Healthy hair will always hold color better and longer. Heat-damaged hair fades fast! Use a professional heat protectant to lock in the color and shield your hair from the dryer and hot tools. ☑

3. Salon Strength Treatments are like gold - If you are coming in for a blowout or haircut between color services, let's discuss a customized plan to keep your color locked in for weeks longer. Many treatments are offered for different hair issues, but they all help with color retention. ☑

4. Glosses- Depending on your at-home care regimen, you might need a quick gloss in the salon to refresh your color before your next full service. I can quickly take care of that refresh, and you can finish it with a professional blowout for a lunch date or ladies' night out. ☑

Have you ever thought… I'll just go darker. That would be easier than keeping up the blonde?! ​​​​​​​​

Well... that isn't necessarily true! ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
⭐ When going darker after being light, we can't just put a color over it to get what we want. ​​​​​​​
⭐ We must add back every level of color we remove while going lighter and consider your hair's porosity. ​​​​​​​​
⭐ If we throw a color over the blonde without filling the hair (putting the color back), it will look green and muddy and definitely won't be the pretty, rich brown you want. ⠀
