To our Locals family,

This is one of the hardest messages we’ve ever had to write, and it’s with a truly heavy heart that we share it: Locals Barbershop and Salon will be closing end of day on Sunday, December 28th, 2025.

We didn’t start Locals—but when we took it over more than a decade ago, it quickly became a part of our lives, our marriage, and our hearts. We tried our best to honor what the shop already meant to this community, while also pouring everything we had into it. Over the years, Locals became so much more than a business to us. It became a home. A place full of familiar faces, laughter, stories, and everyday moments that we’ll carry with us for the rest of our lives.

We don’t want to close. We truly don’t. But unfortunately, we have to—and it breaks us to say goodbye to something we’ve loved so deeply.

One thing that’s incredibly important to us is making sure our team is taken care of. They will be able to get a paycheck past Christmas, and supporting the shop during these last weeks helps us make that happen. They’ve given so much of themselves to Locals, and we want to lift them up through this transition.

If you’re able, we’d love to see you before the 28th—whether it’s for one last cut, to share a memory, or just to give a hug. Every visit, every kind word, every familiar smile means more to us now than you could ever know.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of this journey. For trusting us. For loving this place alongside us. For making Locals feel alive.

We will miss this—and you—more than words can express.
