Diets are not the answer....you are. I have struggled with my weight for my entire life. I have slowly gained about 100lbs back.

I thought my fight was over in 2011 when I lost over 200lbs without the aid of weight loss surgery or pills. However, a change of life circumstance (new job, new town, new friends) my new habits started to fade away and my old habits started to resurface. I'm not going back to 400lbs though. I have decided to face my current situation and take control back from the food, from the emotional eating, from the depressive cycle. Today I'm feeling good. I'm telling myself positive messages about my journey where it is now. I am committed to making sure that my actions towards myself are supportive (how many things have I done that don't support me?!? Oy!!!). Most of all, I'm being kind, patient and forgiving with myself. I'm worth it ❤️

Excuses have been my frienemy for the last year. Every time I thought about going to work out, excuse was there with the right words to convince me why I didn't have enough time, enough energy, enough money, no close, etc, etc, etc... Also whenever I was given the option of eating more of something or eating a food that is part of the problem, not the solution, excuse was there with words that helped me see that eating that "fill in the blank" was ok because it was "just this once".

3 days ago I said NO MORE! You know I'm a fan of baby steps so my baby step 3 days ago was to start doing yoga. Every day I commit those 30 yoga minutes to myself. And when I excuse shows up with reasons why not, I show up with reasons why. No more excuses for me. None. I'm ready.
