Hey friends 💙

I’m trying to fill a few massage openings this Sunday and Tuesday, so if you’ve been considering booking with me, I’d really appreciate the support right now.

I’m offering a temporary friends & family rate of $80/hour at the studio, with adjusted pricing for longer sessions and mobile massage. Or if this weekend is already looking busy, you can pay in advance at this price and book when you're ready.

If your body’s been feeling tight, stressed, exhausted, or just in need of some care, I’d love to get you on my table. Message me if you’d like to book. 🖤

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share something new that’s coming together this March.

The BioMechanic Massage is partnering with Sequoia Yoga to open The Body Balance Collective — a shared space where movement and targeted bodywork work together to support how your body actually functions day to day.

We’ll be located off Devine Street, and we’re offering a limited number of founding memberships for those who want to be part of this from the beginning.

Here’s how it breaks down:

Dual Membership (Best Value)
• Unlimited Yoga – $135/month
• 1 Monthly 60-Minute Massage – $90/month
(Available for your first 3 months. After that, yoga transitions to the Founding Member rate.)

Individual Options
• Founding Member Unlimited Yoga – $145/month
• 1 Monthly 60-Minute Massage – $95/month

After the first 10 members, rates adjust to:
• Unlimited Yoga – $175/month
• 60-Minute Massage – $100

If you’ve been looking for a more consistent, structured approach to taking care of your body — this is a simple way to build that into your routine.

To get started with massage or the dual membership, you can contact me directly:
📞 864-365-6390
📧 [email protected]

For yoga-specific questions or sign-up, you can reach Christina at:
📧 [email protected]

📞 843-271-7105

We’ll complete membership setup in person or over the phone.

Looking forward to working with you,
Jen Hasik

Have you ever experienced a sharp pain in your lower back or leg? This could be a sign of sciatica, a condition where the sciatic nerve (which runs from your lower back down to your feet) becomes compressed or irritated.

One of the main causes of sciatica is poor postural alignment of the pelvis. When the pelvis is out of alignment, it can put pressure on the sciatic nerve and cause pain and discomfort. This can be caused by a variety of factors, such as sitting for long periods of time, carrying heavy bags on one side of the body, or even wearing high heels.

So how can you improve the alignment of your pelvis and reduce your risk of sciatica? Here are some tips:

1. Stretch regularly - Stretching can help to release tension in your lower back and pelvis. Try doing some simple stretches like the piriformis stretch or the knee-to-chest stretch.

2. Be mindful of your posture - Try to maintain good posture throughout the day, especially when sitting down. Sit with your back straight and your feet flat on the ground.

3. Strengthen your core - Strengthening your core muscles can help to support your pelvis and lower back. Try doing some exercises like planks or bridges.

4. Use heat therapy - Applying heat to your lower back can help to relax your muscles and reduce pain. Try using a hot water bottle or a heating pad.

By practicing these simple tips, you can improve your postural alignment and reduce your risk of sciatica. Remember to always listen to your body and seek medical attention if you experience severe or persistent pain. Stay healthy and keep learning!

Attention all office workers! Did you know that poor posture can lead to work-related injuries such as neck pain, backache, and even carpal tunnel syndrome? As a massage business, I want to remind you to take care of your body while you work. Make sure to sit up straight, take frequent breaks to stretch and move around, and consider booking a massage to relieve any tension and pain. Your body will thank you!
