We recently finished refining some wax from old frames and honey extraction using a half gallon milk carton as a mold. Worth its weight in gold for a beekeeper!

A little update on my experiment freezing freshly extracted honey. While it did seem to prevent crystallization, it made the honey turn opaque for some reason. I heated some previously frozen honey in a hot water bath and was able to return it to its clear liquid state.

There's a new queen in town 🐝
