loves you and yours..Be encouraged my brothers and sisters..Make sure you check your purses for your documents prior to leaving home, check your license plate to ensure your registration stickers are up to date, book your fine hotel as in , get in your car if you’d like or on a flight if you feel comfortable and enjoy.. I did see HSI agents however no one bothered me as I was looking at them from the safety of our hotel room…

God is so wonderful my people, we can still enjoy in our skin, dip in a roof top pool and live freely..

Our sons’ ❤️❤️first day back at school was filled with anxiety and trepidation. Adam our younger was afraid his current ‘principal’ would change his good grades he gets in P.E because of his propensity to present a false and misleading diabolical narrative ..witnessed.
Jay was of course not wanting to go. Trauma. They witnessed and experienced discrimination and when we tell the truth..retaliation .. had to come in..our silence does not help us.
So many black and brown moms in Howard county have had to retain counsel to keep their black kids in the school as their black sons are being suspended and expelled at alarming rates.

People say just leave. I say we are black wherever we go.
US citizens and are entitled to have our constitutional rights enacted. We also tried private and another of our sons was again spat on.
That is the calling by design and some of us have had to and sacrifice careers. Eradicate racism. The environment for black and brown boys seeking a quality education is generally hostile to them and their black parents and their black and brown faces. One is so blessed to find integral principled leaders in education.
As parents we have to encourage, and incentivize our children such that they may experience a semblance of joy and peace..
Post racial and disability discrimination..
If you saw the pledge that was sent home for us to sign just so my 6th grader can have access and participate in their Technology class, you would gasp.
Particularly for black and brown families in a public school system, access to a free and appropriate quality education is an inherent right. Private schools are also detaining and suspending our black sons the same.
Any form or tool that will be used as a weapon to exclude, suspend and expel your K-12 black students need to be re-examined to the letter of federal as well state law particularly when disciplinary outcomes disproportionately affect black and brown students. Black students are suspended 7 times more than white or Asian Students. Please stay vigilant Moms..

My son who enjoys a manicure and pedicure is having such an awesome time for prep..We wish all students a lovely school year particularly our black and brown families in white dominant spaces which may lack diversity. We pray for equity and meaningful inclusion - a true sense of belonging.. White families please teach and train your students to not spit on black and brown students or call them the N word..
