Well yesterday was an amazing day with such amazing people. We were able to grab supper & hang out with before he and Tayler went on stage. We were even able to squeeze in a FaceTime call with Uncle ! Steve, watching you and Tayler get up there and do what you love was awesome. I am so proud of you and I know Great Grandpa and Papa Joe both have the best seats watching from heaven. Always know they are watching you with a great, warm smile. 🩵

Shout out to to fitting our group in at such short notice. We will definitely be back!

It’s hard to believe the journey that has come after the crazy journey that was nursing school. My reasons for getting through?
1. God
2. My family
3. My friends
Let me explain…
I have NEVER had my faith tested like it was during nursing school. Many, many people wanted me to drop out (me included at times) and some wanted to see me fail. But faith persevered. And bless my poor mom who stayed up with me studying, called her crying, and literally clung to her like a toddler. She and my dad would constantly point me to God while I was at my lowest mentally. They showed me and reminded me that God perseveres. My friends survived me through nursing school, bc let’s be real, I didn’t like ME through nursing school. But only one went through it with me. , I had no intention of making many friends in nursing school. I stuck to myself mostly and am not extroverted when it comes to school. But I thank God for making us fast friends. You brought me out of my funk that I put myself in. Lifted my spirits after a bad grade. Always encouraged me (even now). And even though you aren’t biologically my sister, you will forever be my sister in my heart. Through all that I gained a niece, Avery bug, I thank you for putting up with me and your momma through nursing school. I know sometimes we probably looked crazy (probably still do) but it was worth it. We stuck it out. And now I have gained a brother in law and nephew , Hunter, thank you for always encouraging Rachel, and sticking it out with her. We have persevered.

When you ask me how I am doing when I am walking in the hospital, my answer will always be “I am here and persevering” because I have and will everyday for God, my patients, and myself.

I had a 💥 BLAST 💥 jumping to light speed, being an engineer for this fine hunk of junk, getting the best hugs from a walking carpet / teddy bear, getting captured by the first order & escaping, and having my lips tingle from a drink that was of another galaxy at Ogas Cantina.
