Hey everybody,

As of today, unfortunately Marie is back in the hospital & is dealing with pneumonia, her white blood cell counts are really high so she had to get a blood transfusion. She will be staying at the hospital for a few days hopefully not too long of a stay like her most recent one. We are praying the doctors will do everything they can to get Marie stronger & stabilize what they need to so she can be home for Christmas.

We really appreciate all the love & support from you all as every share of this Gofundme & donation is going to help Marie & her family through this difficult time. Cancer takes away so many things but it has not taken away Marie’s fighting spirit & heart.

Please continue to keep Marie, her family, & all of those who love her in your thoughts & prayers. She has always been a fighter & she needs us to lift her up to keep fighting.

For my best friend, green person, & soul sister, Marie & her family 💚💜💚

My sweet friend, Marie, has been battling cancer since March of 2020 & these last few months unfortunately there have been many complications causing her to be in so much pain. She has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer & it spread to her bones last year. She was admitted to the hospital this past Thanksgiving & was just released a couple days ago due to a bad infection & newfound progression of cancer in her heart & sinuses. Since being at home after her recent release from the hospital Marie will be resting as much she can at home as the pain she is going through has to be managed.

I am hoping that the funds raised for Marie, her partner, Zach, & their 2 beautiful sons, Noah & Makai, will help the family take care of their monthly expenses & needs, & hospital bills for Marie. The donations will help ease their peace of mind as Marie heals, help them spend quality time together, & can live a good quality of life.

Donations in any form, big/small, all are appreciated to help my friend & her family in this difficult season. Every bit helps so we are so grateful for anything you feel in your heart to give. Hey my beautiful Curlfriends 🌻✂️

One of my favorite people in the world & best friends since 1994, my beautiful Marie, has been fighting breast cancer since March of 2020. She is an amazing mom to my 2 godsons, Noah & Makai, wife to Zach, god mother to all the kids that love her, sister, friend, & is 1 of the most giving & loving humans I have come to know in my lifetime.

This past week she was admitted to the hospital with complications from her chemo treatments. Unfortunately she found out she is now dealing with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer & bone cancer & she is now unable to work due to her having to rest & recover.

Marie has been a light in my darkest of times over the many years we have known each other & am so grateful to have her in my life.

Life for me is coming to a full circle being back home in Germany. 🌻✂️

My brand name, Sunflowers & Scissors®️, was inspired by the small village, Kongernheim, where I grew up in Germany as it is where I fell in love with sunflowers since they are everywhere here.

I got the news last week that the trademark for Sunflowers & Scissors®️ is now finally official so being here has been an absolute joy to be home in Germany to celebrate that win & remember where the heart & feeling of the brand was born from that very sunflower field I am standing in. Owning the name was really important to me as I will pass that legacy on to my daughters so I am so proud to do that for them.

Thank you a million to my friend .blax for making my logo for me years ago as it means so very much to me.

Though I am dealt with a terrible disease I am so grateful to be strong enough to be able to go on this trip of a lifetime & spend time with my little sister since not being able to travel anywhere because of my health.

So many magical things have been happening, I have met so many amazing people along this journey, & because of an angel of a friend I got to experience seeing live in Frankfurt as it was one of my f*ck cancer bucket list things I wanted to do. My heart is eternally grateful for that opportunity.

This is a trip of my lifetime I’ll never forget & will hold Germany 🇩🇪 in my heart in this lifetime & afterwards.
