COVID-19 POLICIES! Please Read :)
-Masks are required for every appointment. Clients are required to have a mask on before entering the building. No entry will be permitted without a mask. If you do not have a mask, please inform me prior to your appointment and I will meet you outside the building and provide one for you!
-Temperatures will be checked with an infrared thermometer upon arrival. Please note that if you present with a temperature above 100.4, you will be asked to leave and reschedule your appointment. (However, I am aware waiting in a hot car will result in high surface temperature. If you test high on your forehead AND your wrist, we will wait a few minutes and test again. If your temperature has not gone down after cooling off inside the air conditioning, then we will discuss if I am able to service you.)
-Upon arriving at the salon, please I will ask you to wash your hands thoroughly and to sign my COVID-19 service waiver.
-I am asking for 48 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment so that I can have time to fill the open time slot. Please note that cancellations less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment may result in a 50% cancellation fee at my discretion.
-No Shows result in a 100% cancellation fee. I understand things come up, but please shoot me a text letting me know you won’t be attending your appointment! 3 no shows will result in a block from booking with me. I set this time aside for you, so please respect my time as I do yours! Blocking from booking is also up to my discretion. You all know I’m understanding and accomodating, and thankfully I don’t have this problem very often!
-No extra guests will be permitted inside the Nail Cave until further notice, to be inside my room, you MUST have an appointment!. This includes children. I’m normally very flexible with children, but this is a requirement from the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, and it’s for your child’s health and safety! Please make childcare arrangements prior to your appointment.
-If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have any of the following symptoms:
- Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing
-Persistent Cough
-Muscle or Body Aches
-Fatigue
-New Loss of Taste or Smell
-Nausea, Vomiting or Diarrhea
-Congestion or Runny Nose unaccompanied by seasonal allergies
-Fever above 99.6 degrees or body chills
-Have tested positive for COVID-19
-Have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19
PLEASE inform me IMMEDIATELY so we can cancel your appointment. No cancellation fees will apply for COVID-19 relation cancels.
IF YOU HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19, YOU MUST WAIT TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT UNTIL:
-It has been 10 days since your symptoms first started
-AND you have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications
IF YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO COVID-19 BUT TEST NEGATIVE:
-Please wait to reschedule for 7 days post-test to ensure no symptoms arise, in case you may have been tested too early.

“Ends are not bad things; they just mean something else is about to begin.”
Today, I packed my things and officially cleared out my workspace. With the help of some great friends, I have officially moved.
On my final trip home, I cried. I’ve called Blake Rose my home away from home for nearly three years. Since then, I have grown my confidence, skills, brand, and career. I have learned hard lessons. I have tested myself in more than once aspect, all in this space. The freedom and flexibility Blake Rose gave me to run my business the way I wanted has given me the confidence to grow my brand and career, even if it looks nothing like I would’ve expected it would if I was asked in February: “where do you see yourself in 6 months?”
Closing the door on this chapter is bittersweet. I’m going to miss this little pink room and the great friends I’ve made here, but I am so excited about my new space. I can’t wait for you all to see it.

Thank you everyone for a fantastic opening weekend! It was wonderful to see you all, and I can’t wait to see those of you that are on my books for the next few weeks. I missed you all terribly, and I’m so excited to start making you all look and feel beautiful again.
Our COVID-19 procedures have gone smoothly so far. I wanted to say thank you to Blake Rose Salon & Spa for all the hard work and preparation behind the scenes to make my May 15th opening date possible. They’ve provided me with a plexiglass shield for the manicure table, a killer front desk staff to take temperatures, and create a smooth guest check-in. Peyton worked the desk all opening weekend and absolutely SLAYED. I could not have made it through the weekend without her!
My schedule is pretty stacked over the next couple of weeks, so if you aren’t already scheduled but would like to do so, please book online or shoot me a message so I can see you! Looking forward to all the nail magic about to happen!
