And hear me out…

Client care extends WAY beyond the chair.

You can give the best consultation, the perfect color, the most relaxing appointment everrrr…
but if your clients can’t get ahold of you after they leave the salon, you’re creating a disconnect whether you realize it or not.

I see so many stylists limiting themselves to “office hours” and taking forever to respond to messages, book appointments, or follow up with clients.
And listen… I get it. We all have lives outside of the salon.
We deserve boundaries, rest, family time, all of it.

But let’s also be real for a second…
Most of us always have our phones on us.
It takes less than 5 minutes to answer someone who is trying to give you their time, money, trust, and loyalty.

If another stylist is nurturing that client relationship better, communicating better, and making that guest feel seen and taken care of…
don’t be shocked when your client slowly drifts elsewhere.

Clients want connection. They want to feel important.
They want to feel taken care of beyond just their 2-hour appointment every 8 weeks.

Stop limiting client engagement and start nurturing the relationship 🤍

Not too big.
Not too wild.
Not too hard to manage.

You just needed someone who understood it ✨

Dear Heavenly Father
Thank You for mothers!!
For the women who pour and pour even when they feel empty.
For the sacred strength hidden in late nights, tear-stained pillows, silent sacrifices, and whispered prayers no one else hears.

Today I pray for the mom who feels unseen.
Remind her that Heaven sees every single thing she does in love.

For the mom carrying grief…hold her gently today.
Sit with her in the silence where words don’t help.
Wrap around the empty seats, the missed phone calls, the anniversaries, the ultrasounds that never became nursery rooms, the children in Heaven, and the mothers waiting there too.

For the women longing to become mothers…breathe hope into places disappointment tried to harden.
Remind them they are not forgotten.
Not overlooked. Not less than.

For the ones missing their own moms today…let sweet memories feel close.
Let love feel louder than loss.

For the exhausted moms…the touched-out moms,the anxious moms,the moms barely holding it together behind forced smiles…give them rest for their souls.
Remind them that being needed so deeply can feel heavy sometimes, and that doesn’t make them ungrateful.
It makes them human.

And God, for every mother reading this…fill her with joy that reaches deeper than circumstances.
With peace that quiets fear.
With love that overflows.
With hope that rises again.

Let her feel celebrated.
Not because she did everything perfectly…but because she loved.
And kept loving. Again and again and again.

Clients turning into friends will forever be one of my favorite parts of what I do 🥹🤍

Last night, my beautiful friend and client who’s been in my chair for 5 years invited me to my very first gala… and it felt like such a full-circle moment

What started as appointments turned into real life, real friendship ✨ and getting all dressed up together, laughing all night, and making memories outside the salon just meant so much!

I got to experience my first live auction and silent auction (so fun 😅) and be part of something bigger by giving back to Cisco and the Pink Ribbon Ladies. Truly such a special night.

So thankful for you, Ciera!
Our friendship is such a gift 🫶🏻✨

There’s something really special about this season at NOVA✨

So much has shifted this year
new roles, new systems, new growth… and through all of it, my team has shown up with so much grace!

No resistance. No ego.
Just open hearts and a willingness to grow together!
And that’s not something I take lightly 🥹

The atmosphere lately?
Easy. Light. Refreshing.
The kind of space you can feel the second you walk in

We’ve always said NOVA is more than just doing hair…
it’s about integrity, showing up for each other, and creating something that actually means something

And watching my girls live that out in real time has been the biggest gift!
