Why I Created Crown & Calling™

Over the years, many women have sat in my chair believing two things at the same time:
that their hair matters deeply to them — and that they should be able to manage it completely on their own.
I understand that mindset. We live in a time where information is everywhere and “doing it yourself” is often praised. But what the Lord has been gently revealing to me is this:
Access to information does not replace wisdom.
Premium results — in hair, in health, and in life — are rarely produced in isolation.
God never designed us to flourish alone. He designed us to grow through guidance, stewardship, and understanding. That applies not only to our faith walk, but also to how we care for the temples He entrusted to us.
For years, the women in my chair have received more than hair services. They’ve received insight, correction, encouragement, and perspective shaped by experience and faith. Recently, God made it clear to me that this wisdom was not meant to remain limited to a physical chair or a local salon.
Crown & Calling™ was created for the woman who desires healthy hair, but also desires understanding. For the woman who wants results, but also wants peace. For the woman who knows that wholeness begins with stewardship — inside and out.
This guide is not about perfection, trends, or shortcuts. It’s about learning how to honor your crown while walking faithfully in your calling — whether you ever sit in my chair or not.

So my son woke me up out of my sleep not too long ago asking if he could sleep with me because of a dream he had. I agreed and was too sleepy to ask about the dream so I decided to wait until the next morning. So when we woke, I asked him about the dream. He was hesitant to talk about it but eventually I pulled it out of him. He started off by saying, he was present at judgment Day. I said son what do you mean, he said, I was literally in line during judgment day. And it kind of threw me off for a second, But then I allowed him to keep going. He said as I was standing in line there were millions and millions and millions of people also surrounding him. He said I could see heaven, and it was very colorful and the clouds had angels in them, and there were buildings as tall as he's ever seen before and they were beautiful, and he said he looked to his left and he could see a portal, and the portal was opening and closing at the sound of a voice. He said the voice was strong and mighty And the only thing that he could see was a bright light. He said he could hear the people being cast from in front of the voice through the portal and he could also feel the heat coming from the portal when it opened and shut. He said Mommy it was so hot that it was burning the side of my face. He said the voice was asking people about their life and decisions that they've made, And he said Mommy the people were just going in one after another so fast. Then he said he woke up when he moved to the front of the line. He was pretty quiet for the rest of the day which made me worried. I felt some type of way about that dream myself, it woke me up in a lot of places. I try to tell everybody that story because I feel God gave my son that vision in order for him to spread awareness and also myself. We have to get ourselves in order. Jesus is on the way. I cannot stress this enough, I want to see all of my loved ones with me in heaven. There is not enough time for us to be procrastinating, there is not enough time for us to still be out here living a life that is not godly. I'm not saying that you have to be holier than thou. But please I beg you, please, please, please...... FIND JESUS AND HOLD ON TIGHT TO HIM. I love all of you. And I wouldn't be the disciple that I am today if I didn't share this with you. Take it and share it and pass it along. Tell everybody. Time is running out. Please 🙏🏾
