It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Mike Holman. Mike passed away peacefully in December after a long illness. We all hoped he has a few more haircuts left in him . In honor of Mike , an open house memorial will be held on February 3rd, 2024 from 12-2 at The National Barber Museum and Hall of Fame at 135 Franklin St, Canal Wi******er, OH 43110. Please come join us as we gather to share his stories and jokes and take a tour of the barber museum in honor of Mike . He loved each and every one of his customers as if they were family . We hope to see you on February 3rd !

Mike has been hospitalized again due to health issues . If you came by the shop and he wasn’t there please know how sorry he is .

Stoped by to see Mike today. He made me look almost respectable. Please note that Mike has reduced his hours as reflected in the photo I have posted here. Also please note that he may run out of energy a little early on any given day and have to leave early so please bear with Mike as he recovers.

It's been a long year and I'm happy to announce Mike will return to the shop next week! He will come back part-time for now. He's worried he won't have enough jokes so please come prepared to give him some to use!

Thank you all for your well wishes. Mike is getting stronger everyday and hopes to be back in the shop as soon as possible .

Mike says thanks for all the well wishes . He’s still trying to get his lungs to cooperate so he can get back in the shop and tell dirty jokes . Thanks for you support ! He will be back as soon as he can .

Mike will be out of the shop for a week or two as he heals from Pneumonia . We will keep you updated when he will be back open .
