Burnout isn't a personal failure- it's often a reflection of the systems we work in. Thank you to everyone who joined today's webinar with Aimee R. McCann, MSW, LISW-S, for an important conversation about the realities of social workers being exploited and what we can do to advocate for healthier workplaces and a stronger profession. As Aimee reminded us, "If you're burned out, it's not because of who you are, but maybe it's because of just the conditions under which you're working." That message resonated with so many participants. Together, we can continue advocating for systems that value social workers- not just our dedication, but our well-being.

NASW Student Series - Interdisciplinary Treatment of Eating Disorders: What Social Work Students Should Know

As a future social worker, understanding eating disorders and the importance of interdisciplinary care is essential across many practice settings. This NASW Student Series workshop will provide an introduction to the signs and symptoms of eating disorders, common myths and misconceptions, and the role social workers play in supporting individuals in recovery. Participants will also learn about interdisciplinary treatment approaches, evidence-based treatment modalities, and how professionals from multiple disciplines collaborate to provide effective care. Whether you are interested in clinical practice, healthcare, schools, or community settings, this session will help build foundational knowledge for your future career.
