I just finished up my CST Level 3 course (12 hours of instruction!) and it was such a beautiful experience ♥️
In one of my bodywork groups someone once asked why craniosacral is more expensive than massage when massage is harder on the therapist’s body. It was such a valid question, and I loved the answer: BECAUSE OF THE TRAINING!!
Craniosacral Therapy training is arranged by levels, usually 2-4 days at a time. They are expensive and information dense. Most of what we learn is neuroanatomy, but teachings can definitely venture into basic neurology.
It’s a LOT. Lots of diagrams, models, and hands-on work!
Do you know how intricate the human cranium is?? It is wild 🤯
Today I was explaining to the class that I always thought I’d work with babies and kids but mostly my practice is full of clients who are healing from trauma ❤️🩹
I was following the new protocol while I worked with my partner, but also “feeling” into what she needed, like I would in a regular session.
When I was finished she started crying and said she was injured in a car accident in December and no one had been able to help the tension in her neck—until today!! I was SO honored to help her, but when she was calm, I also laughed and said, “SEE?? Everyone cries on my table!!” 😂🥲🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, it was a beautiful day full of beautiful therapists, and life-changing work 🫶🏻🤲✨
I can’t wait to share it!
Tonight I offered a CST session in a boho tent at The Meditation Pasture at Leatherman Lane while it stormed around my client and I. I literally don't have words for how magical it was to be outside while the wind whipped the walls of the tent, and the thunder clapped, and energy moved 😭 I would offer sessions in bad weather 100% of the time if I could, haha.
Also, it felt like God was in on it because it was never dangerous or intense. It was almost like we were in this little pocket at the outskirts of the storm, but never right beneath the worst of it.
Just, wow. I'm in awe. I'm grateful ❤️
This session moved me to tears—especially when Dolly booped my nose with hers 😂🥹 Horses have the most beautiful healing energy. What an honor to share this space with them 🤲✨

Can we talk about the kind of tired that sleep doesn’t fix?
The kind where you sleep all night, nap at the weekend too, and still feel exhausted. Whether it’s burnout, months of stress that never switched off, or chronic illness – you rest, and the tiredness doesn’t budge.
There’s a whole field of research, psychoneuroimmunology, on how the brain, nervous system and immune system are in constant conversation. Stay under threat long enough and that conversation gets stuck in a danger setting. Your nervous system stays braced… and that’s exhausting.
So yes, sleep matters. But the deeper work is sending your body the signal that the danger has passed.
Real support instead of carrying it all alone.
Expression of your real feelings. Truth, honesty, free flowing.
Reminders that you’re still you, not just a stress response with a to-do list. Passion, purpose, and real rest — the kind you can only get whilst you’re not in a constant state of fight or flight.
So if you’re exhausted in a way no nap can touch… it might not be more rest you need. 🤍

I love getting these texts from my clients after session 🥹🎉
Sometimes when people ask me what craniosacral therapy actually is, I just bypass the clinical jargon and say, “It’s weird. . .but it works!” 😂😂
In this particular session we were talking about the energetic connection between the hips and the jaw. We were working on her hips when her jaw started hurting. So we paused on her hips and worked on her jaw instead.
So much of CST work is listening to the body and looking for those subtle clues. That’s when the healing changes really happen 🙌🏻
When I began my journey into Craniosacral work, I knew I wanted to help people heal from trauma. And I guess my prayer made it straight to the heavens because I've had SO many clients with C-PTSD and PTSD make their way to me, and while I can hold space, I've often wished I had more of a blueprint for helping people truly integrate their memories and release their big emotions.
I started following Dr. Liz Burkholder with Go Within Institute early last year and continued to receive emails about her Hypno-Breathwork Somatic program. I'd already taken a month-long somatic course but didn't feel like it gave me the necessary tools to truly move that TRAUMA energy out of the tissues.
I'm SO excited to announce that I've been accepted into Dr. Liz's four-month program and I start with a six-hour intensive TODAY 🥳
I don't yet know how this is going to integrate into the work I already offer, but I WILL figure it out as I learn and grow, and add to my skills. I've always wanted to help people. From the time I was a little girl, I can remember people telling me I had an "Old Soul". And as I grew into an adult, I'm the person strangers sit next to in a waiting room and tell their life's story to. I've absolutely never taken that privilege for granted. I want nothing more than to be a safe place for people to land when they're ready to heal.
I've gone through my own journey of healing, which has included fours years of Parts Work, EMDR, Brain Retraining (through Primal Trust), and MORE, but my truest breakthroughs came when I learned to be in my body again with breathwork, yoga, meditation, and somatic exercises. And that's why I chose Dr. Liz's program.
I'm so excited to offer this work and help my clients feel safe in their bodies again 💜 Give me four-months and I'll be ready!
This week I got brave and introduced myself and my work on a local Facebook group—including my booking link 🫣
But it worked, and I brought in a new client! I gave her a massage this morning and she said she’d had eight different massage therapists over the years and my massage was “top notch” and “one of the best” 😭🥹
Now I do think massage opinions are incredibly subjective, but I’ll just relish the good review like the over-achiever I am 😂💆🏻♀️💆🏻♀️🏆
I really do put my whole heart into my work! 🤲✨🥹
Absolutely love this view! That’s my silhouette while doing neck work 😅💆🏻♀️
If your neck has been hurting, come see me at Leatherman Lane—Bonus: the trees 🌳😍
