How have you been?! It's been a while since we've chatted and I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to touch bases with you and give you some quick updates on what I've been up to. First of all...

I am excited to announce that I have completed my Sisterlocks®️ class! I have been practicing away! As a part of my new venture, I am raffling off a Sisterlock®️ establishment package at a special discounted rate. Also, I've been spending my days working with a great company that supports the rights and needs of realtors in georgia. This was both a surprise and a blessing as I am able hone in on my finance skills while gaining insight into the real estate industry.

So what does all this mean for you as my client?

Wellllll, as many of you know, I have been working at the salon part-time. And going forward, I will continue to keep my part-time hours. This means that my schedule will remain limited as I only have a few evening appointments available every week.

Unfortunately, I am only able to accept new clients who want Sisterlocks®️, as I need to complete 3 styles in order to be listed as a certified consultant on the official Sisterlocks®️ website. I'm really excited about these opportunities and this next leg in my journey. And I have missed seeing you! I'm so grateful for your patience as I have made these life changes.

For my existing clients, I will do my best to keep you updated when appointments become available. And I'm always here if you want to reach out for hair care advice or if you have any concerns about your hair. I'm just a text or call away.

I hope all is well with you. I want to let you know that I will be taking a temporary hiatus from the salon. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and I understand that this news may come as a surprise, but hear me out...

I have always been committed to providing the highest quality service to you and I making myself available as much as my schedule will allow. However, I need to a break for personal and professional growth purposes. I’ve been busy working on some new projects and I am struggling to balance it all.

First, I will be starting my SisterLocs training this month! This is an intensive, hands-on, 2 week course that will allow me to not only enhance my skills as a Loctician, but also qualify me to be listed on the SisterLocs national database as a certified consultant. This is a class that has a year-long waiting list, so I am thrilled to have the opportunity to take this course!

Second, I have shared with some of you that my mortgage loan originators license is now active! I’m so excited about the opportunity to add this to my credentials as I have always been curious about the mortgage loan industry. I am eager to learn the ends and outs of this business so that I can help others pursue their dreams of home ownership. I will also have the opportunity to train with leaders in the company to improve my knowledge and further develop my skills.

With that being said, as of this month, I will not be accepting any new clients or appointments for the remainder of the year. My availability will be very limited. (However, I will be excepting appointments for Micro Locs or Sister Locs as a part of my training for the course.)

If you currently have an appointment scheduled, I will reach out to you, as I may need to adjust your day and time. Hopefully, we can coordinate a day and time that works for you. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please understand that taking a hiatus was not an easy decision for me to make. I truly value each and every one of my clients and am grateful for your continued patronage over the years. I have just had to accept that I cannot do it all and need to take some time to focus on completing these personal and professional growth goals.

Rest assured that I will keep you updated with my schedule and availability. In the meantime, I encourage you to take care of yourselves and keep your self-care practices going. I thank you for your continued support and understanding.
