Let's walk through this color correction 🥴

She came in wanting highlights and a warmer base... definitely not gonna happen. Whoever did this to her hair I am not quite sure what the thought process was also burning off someone's hair is never okay!

When your hair reaches this point its best to just go warmer chop it off and then let the pieces that were burnt off to grow back. Im a hair care girly so i take pride in telling my girlies to do the same!

So...This would have been a little different if her burnt pieces were underneath or more inside her hair but because of the cowlick highlighting that would be a negative and also wouldn't look right because she doesnt have enough long hair to cover the cowlick. And when youre highlighting the cowlick area you HAVE TO INCLUDE IT! so in this case i included it into the lowlight process to hide it!

I did highlight some pieces but not super light just enough to tone her to this pretty reddish brown.

We chopped off some hair for sure and then styled her. I always say that hair can always be fixed as long as you dont burn it off! But here we are so this is what i did for her.
