23 miles through the Core Zone. Gorgeous beyond words and a once in a lifetime trip. It made my PNW heart so happy. Streams, snow, waterfalls, so many lakes and mountain goat friends. Every mile looked like a different planet.

My first backpacking trip ever and as always I learned so much about what my body can do when I just keep going.

•Made breakfast for the whole family
•Washed dishes and sterilized pumping parts and pacifiers
•Sat with mom through a breastfeeding session
•Burped and changed baby
•Refilled mom’s water bottle to keep her hydrated
•Sent mom to nap for 90 minutes
•Encouraged dad and big sister to get outside
•Babywore while baby slept
•Folded and put away laundry
•Held baby and kept big sister entertained while lunch came together
•Talked through c-section recovery and postpartum pelvic floor PT

Happy Easter! Happy Spring! This season is one of rebirth, renewal, growth, and hope, where new life blooms and families beautifully expand. I feel so grateful to offer my heart and hands to so many families during their most meaningful seasons. 🌷

Sleep deprivation hits different when you’re also learning to keep a tiny human alive and well. Having a postpartum doula in your corner can change your entire fourth trimester experience.

If you’re expecting, my biggest advice: secure postpartum support before baby arrives. Just 20 hours can be a game changer and impact you and your family more than any perfectly organized nursery ever will. You deserve care too!
