Hair tips I wish everyone knew 👇

If your hair feels flat, dry, or like it just isn’t cooperating lately, adding new products to your routine won’t help!

Most of the time, it needs LESS buildup and MORE intentional product choices.

Try this instead:

✨ Shampoo twice to actually cleanse the scalp
✨ Apply conditioner only from mids to ends
✨ Use heat protectant every single time you style your hair
✨ Finish with a tiny bit of oil just on the ends

Pro tip: If your hair is feeling heavier or more greasy lately, it could be time for a shampoo/conditioner adjustment.

A lot of hair problems are really routine problems.

Small changes make the biggest difference 🤎

As your hairstylist, I’m probably not going to recommend this 👇
Using box dye at home 😅
Not because I’m against it…
But because I’ve seen what it does way too many times.
Box dye is made to work on everyone, so it doesn’t take into account your hair history, your current color, or what you actually want.
Yes, the model on the box looks perfect…but most of the time, your result won’t look like that.
(And to be honest, sometimes the hair color they used on the model isn’t even the same hair color or it’s completely photoshopped 😳)
And that’s how you end up with hair that’s too dark, uneven, or really hard to change later on.
Fixing it usually takes way more time, money, and effort than just doing it right from the start 🤎
Thinking long-term for your hair will always be better than a quick solution.
