I am a certified aromatherapist with over 10 years experience. My journey with essential oils has helped me mentally and physically. I originally looked to the use of essential oils to help with anxiety. As I continued on my journey I became fascinated how the chemistry of plants contain different properties to help in a variety of ways. I wanted and needed to learn more so I studied with Aromatic
One small bottle of essential oil represents an incredible amount of plant material.
Every drop begins with a plant—nurtured by the land, harvested with care, and transformed through the art and science of distillation.
When I formulate, I blend with intention, always asking: What essential oil best serves this purpose?
Sometimes that means incorporating an essential oil into a skincare formula. Other times, it means creating blends for diffusion to support an energizing morning, a peaceful evening, or a greater sense of grounding. Every formula begins with purpose.
For me, formulation is about respecting the plants, honoring the work behind every bottle, and using these concentrated botanicals with care and intention.
From field to formulation, every drop has a purpose.

This may not be the prettiest photo, but it’s a very real glimpse into my creative process.
Whether I’m developing a custom blend or creating a new blend for one of my products, this is where it starts.
Small glass bowls. Handwritten notes. Essential oils. Time. Patience. Intention. And usually more than a few adjustments before everything comes together.
As a certified aromatherapist, I don’t just combine oils because they smell nice together. Each blend is thoughtfully developed with both its aroma, chemistry, and intended purpose in mind.
By the time a blend becomes part of a product or is made just for you, it’s been carefully refined until it feels balanced and intentional.
This behind-the-scenes process is one of my favorite parts of what I do. 🌿

Before we consciously identify a scent, our olfactory system has already begun communicating with the brain. Unlike our other senses, smell has a uniquely close connection to areas of the brain involved in emotion and memory. It’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about aromatherapy.
Every aromatic plant reminds me scent isn’t just something we notice- it has the potential to shape how we feel, what we remember, and how present we become.

The most underrated summer skincare essential?
Lavender Hydrosol. 🌿
Hydrosols are where herbalism meets aromatherapy.
Created during the steam distillation of fresh botanicals, hydrosols are the aromatic waters that remain after the essential oil is separated. They contain water-soluble plant compounds and trace aromatic molecules, making them a gentle, refreshing way to experience the benefits of the plant.
Lavender hydrosol is one of my summer essentials. I keep a bottle in the refrigerator for an instantly cooling facial and body mist after time in the sun—or anytime I need a refreshing pick-me-up.
