✨ How Long Does a Spray Tan Really Last?

The honest answer? It depends on you just as much as it depends on the tan.

Most spray tans last 6-10 days, with the average client enjoying their best glow for about 7 days. With proper prep, hydration, and aftercare, some Glow XO clients can stretch their tan even longer!

But here’s why your bestie may get 10 days while yours fades in 6👇

🤎 Skin Type
If your skin is naturally dry, the tan may hold onto those dry patches initially but can fade unevenly. Oily skin types often exfoliate naturally a little faster, which can shorten longevity.

🤎 Hormones
Hormones play a much bigger role than most people realize! Menstrual cycles, pregnancy, postpartum changes, birth control, thyroid conditions, medications, and even stress can affect your skin’s pH, oil production, and cell turnover. All of those things can impact how dark your tan develops and how long it lasts.

🤎 Lifestyle
Frequent workouts, swimming, hot tubs, long hot showers, and excessive sweating can cause your skin cells to shed faster, taking your tan with them.

🤎 Aftercare
Daily moisturizing, gentle body washes, avoiding harsh exfoliants, and staying hydrated are the biggest factors in extending the life of your glow.
