Frustrating not to find personal descriptions of Lupus flares. So I will describe mine as best as possible.
Normally mornings are my sweet spot, not today. As soon as I wake I flex my feet, back and forth to loosen up what I best describe as cracking the boiled egg.. the bottom of my feet feel like a shell, not by touch from my hand, they feel perfectly normal. The feeling received internal from my nerves to my brain. After 10 minutes of back and forth stretching I stand. One hand on the bed I walk around balancing myself headed to the bathroom. Bottom of my feet feel like I'm wearing 20 pairs of socks. I feel the floor, the weight of my body as they makes contact but with a dull sensation or wearing 20 pairs of socks. The top of my left foot feels as if I was sitting on the beach and my foot was sun burned. My right top of foot totally different. It feels as if a dozen of thick needles pressing down with a 10 pound dumbell on top. Between my big toe and second toe a sharp piercing pain shoots through my foot. Lasting 3 to 10 seconds, then repeating every minute to 30. It's never consistent.
My left chin from my ankle to knee feels like a heating pad is wrap around with the air conditioner blowing on it at the same time. Same for my right ankle but just the ankle. My heart rate while sitting is 130, then 86 then back to 128, this has been 2.5 hours.
My entire body just beneath my skin feels agitated, best way to describe is when you're at a chalkboard caulk in hand and they give you a impossible problem to solve and you head and face surge with blood. That's going on in my body.
I have an instant headache that may last 30 seconds to hours then instantly disappear just as it came. Sometimes front right as it is now to right, rear or the entire head. My right eye is twitching, my right thumb same. Flu like low grade fever, and the strangest sensation, my left eardrum spasms..that's a crazy new one.. the mind numbing wanting to scream ringing. This I've had for years but has worsen last few weeks.
Now let's describe the cramps.... left calf feels like I ran 5 miles, right forearm and left bicep. Headache has just moved from the right front to rear. The chest tightness, taking a deep breath is a thing now.. at times I literally feel my involuntary muscles like my lungs need my voluntary thought to force a breathe.
This morning was two episodes of diarrhea, yesterday was constipation you really don't know.. Alternating every other day or 2 days one day.. no clue until you know when you know.
This is this morning, it will change and it will be different this afternoon. Tomorrow will be different as today. Today I can fake it and smile, tonight could bring zero symptoms other than my feet. Or a all out kick your ass body spasm like Friday night. You never know.

So this is my lupus... the more I read the more I understand nothing. Lupus is a fingerprint, no one person has another's.

3 months ago reluctantly I ordered K² and D³, NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) with Resveratrol. Switch from a tablet multivitamin to a liquid form.
I am extremely impressed with the results.. plus it's easier on the wallet.. win win

I can't find the time, it's too hard, I'm a very busy person..... blah blah blah
Personally a contractor, writer, cook, husband, umpire, referee, hot sause entrepreneur, pickle packer, folk art designer and producer, triathlete, volunteer etc.... all I chose, all I love.. Giving up my excuses, my distractions and yes my convenience and comfort has enhanced my life beyond words...

When I started training clients, the norm was exercise and nutrition. We we're taught a baseline approach..
Set up daily exercises to conduct a few times a week. Suggestions on nutrition etc..
Through my own personal growth, listening and reading 30 or so books, I took the findings from those books, integrated in my own fitness. The difference has been incredible.
Psychology is my main focus, the mind is a self surviving entity that manipulates the body.
My reads have also found a common denominator in champions.. The ability to override the chemical impulse the brain sends our nervous system..
Fascinating stuff...
I will continue being a Guinea pig and trying new principles and ideas on myself. I'll keep you posted on the successes and failures.

Summer has ended, days are getting shorter.. Its time to add vitamin D3, C and zinc to your daily diet..
