All the Christmas decor is tucked away, and I just realized I never shared with you! This year, we got our decor up early and enjoyed it all season. My favorite part was having my tree as the background for all of my video calls. It made every meeting more joyful. Taking ideas about what can go into my background for January 🤣

Our Thanksgiving decor is up, and I'm feeling extra grateful to have these two cats here with us this Thanksgiving. Westin, the gray tabby, managed to escape for two and a half days 😱 He's never slept a night outside in his 16 years until now, and somehow he managed to come back without a scratch. I have my wonderful neighborhood to thank! 🙏🏻

Did you know that today is National Pumpkin Day? I'm such a pumpkin fan 🎃

Every year, I search for the perfect pumpkin stack, and I bake pumpkin chocolate chip cookies for booing the neighbors 👻 I have the cookie recipe on my blog - both a regular and a gluten-free, dairy-free option. They're so good. Almost cake-like and subtly sweet. I’ll drop the link below.

We did it again! Another builder-grade light fixture gone. I'd tell you what I really call these guys (or should I say girls?), but I don't want to get flagged. Swipe over to my before shot. What do you call those?

I love the lighting selection at Ballard Designs and Potterybarn, and they both have an amazing rewards program. When you use the store credit card, you earn points toward your next purchase. So, I'm well on my way to getting them all switched out.

Yesterday, we back to school shopped while our house was being cleaned. I don’t know about you, but that type of efficiency makes me giddy 😊️

Before I became a mom, all my mom friends told me to hire someone to help clean my house. I resisted. For years. I felt guilty, and I actually like cleaning 🤷🏻‍♀️

At some point, I gave in and I will never go back! Literally the best ever!

Want to feel like you're living in a new home without moving or redecorating? Get your windows professionally cleaned! I've only done it once, and I remember feeling like my home was so clean. It's happening again tomorrow, and I cannot wait!! I can't think of a better way to get my mind off of the constant summer messes I'm cleaning up over here 😑
