Todays weather has been perfection (sunny and 75 degrees in Houston calls for a celebration!) and I had the perfect outfit for it!

From top to bottom I was comfy and felt CUTE in my new Mama hat, denim jacket with a fun peplum, super soft stretchy skirt and my shoes.

There isn’t a filer out there that will make this picture look any better!
The reality is I was cranky, puffy, swollen and uncomfortable! I remember crying at the doctors office that week asking if they could please take them out! I had been on strict bed rest for 10 weeks, but didn’t want to leave my 8 year old home and go on hospital bed rest. Can’t believe my baby boys will be 8 years old on Monday!! 💙💙
I had fertility issues with both my pregnancies...I now know so many of the products I used contained ingredients that were not only harmful, but specifically linked to fertility problems!! We can’t back track and “what if” our life, but we can spread the word and make safer, cleaner choices!

Did you know we make customs bows? Tress, garland, wreaths...if it sits still, we can put a bow on it!! 🎅🏻🎄

Y’all don’t do it. Don’t wish away the bad days, or complain too much about the hard ones. I just looked up out of the haze of a really tough week (hell, maybe a really tough month) and my kids have grown before my very eyes.
I’ve been so stressed about these little bitty small parts of my world/life that I haven’t taken the time to fully appreciate the 3 people I created and all the joy they bring to my world.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all rainbows and roses, and a lot of the time is cow patties and thorn bushes! But, if you let yourself...and you’re not careful, those thorns take over and there are no more roses.
Just for a minute take a deep breath and look up. Look up at the delight the 17 year old is having trying to balance a pumpkin on her head. Look up to the 7 year old seriously happy he got “something to move” on the ancient tractor at the patch. Look up at the complete and utter joy the other 7 year old had when you took him with you to vote! (That may be an entire post all of its own.) 🤣
What ever the day has brought you so far, good, bad, ugly or beautiful...just look up and enjoy the wonderful craziness that is around you, for they will be gone all too soon.
