And rounding out this weekend, a trip to see my beautiful elephants. I can’t wait until I can manage a trip to Thailand or Africa so I can see them where they live.

This year this crazy crew that I’m so proud to be a part of celebrated Christmas together at Vic and Anthony’s! It’s always to nice to dress up and have fun with everyone.

I spent this Monday at a place I consider my home away from home, sharing so much Davines love! The morning was filled with product confidence and the afternoon was filled with color confidence. My heart is full.

After going dark about a year and a half ago was ready to go back blonde!

When we initially went dark we filled with View 7,0 and applied Mask with Vibrachrom 6,14 and 10 volume activator. She had 2 more all over colors while in Colorado from another manufacturer.

To start her journey back to blonde we started with test strand to ensure we would be able to have decent lift, based on the test strand our goal was a buttery tone.

Prep: Beautiful Things Pro-Chelating Pre-Treatment
Foil work: Progress with 10 volume activator for back. Progress with 20 volume activator for sides and front hairline. Progress with 30 volume for top. Alternate back combed slices and fine weave to the root.

Equalize: Beautiful Things Pro-Chelating Pre-Treatment
Tone: Zone 1 The Present Time 8,3 15g 9,0 15g 7 volume activator 60g
Zones 2 and 3 The Present Time 9,21 15g 10,01 30g 15 volume activator 90g
Process 20 minutes
Shampoo: Heart of Glass Silkening Shampoo

Any excuse I have to make hair red I’m going to take it! Jacob came to me with grown out sliced highlights that had been previously toned very violet and had faded substantially. He wanted more of a melt from his natural dark brown into a very vibrant red.

•Dimensional foil, picking out previously lightened hairs: 25g Progress 25g Tolerance 50g 10 volume activator. Process to an orange/ yellow orange.
•Cleanse: Natural Tech Nourishing Shampoo
•Tone: The Present Time 25g 7,55 5g 6,66 60g 7 volume activator. Process 20 minutes.
•Cleanse: Natural Tech Nourishing Shampoo
•Glow up: Finest Pigments Mahogany. Process 10 minutes. Lather, rinse until clear.
•Condition: Natural Tech Nourishing Vegetarian Miracle. Process 5 minutes.
•Leave in: Heart of Glass Shear Glaze.
