How often do you exfoliate? Why should you exfoliate? 🤔 🥰 Exfoliating helps to keep your skin soft and smooth by buffing away and removing dead skin cells. Your skin naturally sheds dead skin cells about every 30 days. When this happens, new skin cells form the top layers of your skin. 🫣 If you don’t exfoliate, you have the potential to trap the oil in your pores, causing pimples, black head, etc. 🧖🏽‍♀️There are certain levels to exfoliation that you can get done by a licensed Esthetician or Dermatologist such as regular gentle (basic facials), microdermabrasion (more abrasive), or chemical peels (deep, peeling exfoliation). 🧴It’s important to exfoliate every 2 to 3 days to keep your skin clear and free from impurities. NEVER exfoliate every day unless you are using a specifically made gentle exfoliate and make sure to apply extra sunscreen after your exfoliating treatment! Have more questions about your skin?
