I'm back and booking the rest of summer 2018

Remember... ALL old 2018 pre-surgery appointments have been canceled.

Week Eight

Last week, I had five days of one client per day. That went just fine!

This week, I am seeing two clients per day. It to will go well!

Next week, I will work half days. It should be fine.

August first, I’ll be back almost full time.

Week 7

I started the week by giving Marty a haircut. It was okay.

So I’ve filled this week with one-a-day cut/colours; only people with shorter, finer, simpler cuts.
Next week, I hand selected easy to work with hair for 2-a-days.
And in week three, I’ll try one foil.

If all goes well, I should be at half days in August!

Week six,

I had a doctors appointment on Monday, again things are going nicely. I got good news, I can drive! The doctor and I both agree that I do not have the stamina in my shoulder to return to work yet. It will probably be 2 to 4 more weeks before I can ease into things and still six weeks before I can start booking in earnest.

Week 5.

Things are going great. Monday next is the doctors appointment where he should clear me to loose the sling and drive my dirty car.

It’s time soon to go back to work.

Hello clients,

It’s been three weeks since my surgery and things are progressing better than ever expected. There is little to no pain and I have been off painkillers for almost 2 weeks now. My mobility is limited but improving daily. Right now, I am in physical therapy twice weekly and do exercises at home twice a day.

Yes, I am bored but my friends keep me busy. I am rarely home! However, nothing feels as good as a days work. Nothing helps you sleep as well as having a day filled with accomplishments. Having purpose is what keeps me going.

I thank each and everyone of you for reaching out to me and I hope to see you real soon!

Day 11.

All is well on my front,

How did it go?

Here we go! Marty and I are having a “Farewell to Arm” dinner. It’s the last time I will be able to use a knife and fork.

Surgery is Tuesday (5.22.2018)

Rehab will end in late August (2018)

Cutting and Colouring will commence soon after.
