On February 23rd I completed my 16th and final round of chemotherapy. After 6 long months, dozens of doctors appointments and test. ER visits, and bad reactions to chemo. Laying my cousin to rest who also had breast cancer. Then getting into a clinical trial. All while continuing to see clients and do my best to hold on to my business. It is now time for surgery.

I’m so grateful to my clients who chose to continue to support me and my business during this time. Coming to work wasn’t just how I was able to continue to pay my bills and go through treatment. It was keeping my mind. Giving me a sense of normalcy and something to look forward too. A goal to keep pushing towards on the days I could barely walk and get out of bed. I love each and every one of you all and I thank you so much!

As we bring Breast Cancer Awareness Month to a close I want to say… “SHE’S BALD AND SHE’S TORTURING PEOPLE WOTH HAIR!” Lol.

In all seriousness, I want to give a hearty and public thank you to all of the people who have been pouring into me along this journey! You guys know how hard and fast this whole thing came at me. I am constantly amazed at the love and support you guys have shown me. You’ve donated to my gofundme, bought stuff off my Amazon wishlist, made me baskets, prayed with me, stood in agreement with me, sent me words of encouragement, checked on me. I don’t take any of it for granted and I’m so grateful.

I planned on having this whole big thing planned out for this month but tbh I just wasn’t feeling too good. However, to my ladies! Please take care of yourself! Advocate for yourself! Get multiple opinions if you have to! Cancer doesn’t have an age limit! I’m meeting so many women in their early 20’s who struggled to get a diagnosis like me due to their age. Who unfortunately are battling higher stage cancers due to the delay.
