‼️Top 5 Cleansing mistakes that we don’t think about
1️⃣ NOT WASHING HANDS! We all know how gross our phones are right?!
2️⃣ No scrubbing more than a minute, no scrubbing hard! It doesn’t mean it cleanses better
3️⃣ Make sure to wash thoroughly, especially on your forehead, side hair lines. That’s how we get breakouts on those areas
4️⃣ Wash with lukewarm water! Icy cold or hot shower water damages barrier RIGHT AWAY!
5️⃣ Using Oil cleanser everyday. This is new to me as well. I’ve been doing double cleansing for 15 yrs with oil. But using oil everyday can clog your pores also it makes you over-cleanse daily, which can weaken barrier and disrupt natural balance.
Use it few times a week or only those days when you had make up or extra sunscreen (ex: pool, beach days, sport events, night outs etc)
