After much contemplation, I have decided to close my door. The business I built and ran since I was 21 years old is no longer. This decision has been incredibly difficult, as it brought me many years of happiness. I have met the most amazing people through the years, and I will forever be grateful for that. I want to thank my clients for the many years of loyalty and trust, as well as the flexibility during my school years and health crisis. We shared many of our most important life events together. I truly cannot express how much I hold you all dear to my heart.

My nursing career started about two years ago, and my current position about 1.5 years ago. I quickly realized I had to take a break from my business in order to focus on acclimating to my demanding new career, but I always intended on eventually returning a couple days per month. I continued paying the lease so my return would be seamless, but the reality of being full time RN and a mother to two busy young ladies made it apparent that it was not realistic.

I cried when I told my clients I was taking a break 1.5 years ago, and I’ve been crying this week as I notify them of my more permanent decision. It’s been unbelievably emotional for me to move my belongings out of my suite and say goodbye to my first career. There are so many memories attached to that phase of my life.
