You can notice changes the most in clients with tattoos, as the ink gets a "refresher" from the scrub!

Putting my "Business Owner" pants on isn't always easy for me. I've had people tell me that my levels of empathy can be both a blessing and a curse, because as someone who has been through the ringer of life, I understand all that it can throw at you.

With that being said, over the last month there has been a dramatic uptick in last-minute cancelations and even no shows, which has a big impact on small businesses, including my family's livelihood. I have a cancelation policy in place on my website that I also want to share here. I feel this policy is fair and allows me to continue showing grace and empathy while establishing professional boundaries.

I woke up to the most exciting news ever! Aligned has passed the nomination round for QC Times Best of the Quad Cities and will be in the VOTING ROUND from July 14-August 2nd!

Not only does this feel monumental for me because I just recently opened my doors, but I am the only independently run business in the Spa category 💜
