How I feel working my last day...

So incredibly grateful for the beautiful souls I have had the pleasure to know.

Thankful for a space I have been able to call my own and share with my clients.

Proud of what I have built over the years.

Loved by everyone who went out of their way to make the last few weeks special.

Sad to not get to see some of these people I have celebrated with, cheered with, cried with, s**t talked with, and shared so many unique experiences with.

Insightful of the perspective you all have shared with me on how I have grown as a person over the years.

Excited for the next chapter of my life to begin soon.

It's such a great feeling to know the impact I get to make on people just by being their stylist. However, I don't know if you as a client realize the impact you have on me, and I'm so thankful for everyone of you. Thank you for being a special part of my journey.🖤

Want to know a mistake you could be making as someone with fine/thin hair?😵

Asking for an overly layered haircut. A lot of people tend to think that having layers makes your hair look thicker so why not add a bunch right??
Layers can definitely help but going ham with layers for someone with fine/thin hair can actually do the opposite. The layers need to be cut a certain way in order for your ends to not look like 3 single hairs resembling string beans. Trust me, I've been there🙈

Preserving fullness at the ends while adding some softly textured layers and a curtain bang gives you all the feels of that funky s**g without making areas of your hair look thinner.👏

Tell me, has this mistake ever happened to you?👇

Wonder what the most requested color change I've been getting lately is?

It's ginger season😍
A lot of my blondes have eager for a change and a lot of them have been really drawn to the coppery gingers this season. Which im totally down for!

This is a great choice for blondes because colors like these fade so pretty and often fade into beautiful strawberry blondes with time so it makes for a great transition color for something a little different but can still allow you to go back to a bright warm blonde down the road😁

Have you noticed the copper trends lately, or even thought of trying this color yourself? Let me know in the comments👇

Do you think your getting enough hydration?

This is where I say, listen to your hair because the answers are always there. Much the same like out bodies with drinking enough water, we can easily tell if we are hydrated enough every time we go to the bathroom. Hair can be the same way, pay attention to how your hair holds thing, the shine in your hair, or even just the feel of it.👌

Every thing we do can affect our hair from the heat we put on it, the medications we take, or even just the weather outside. All of those things can strip away at the natural oils you can find on our outer layer of a hair strand. It's so important to make sure we keep our hair hydrated with what we take in, how we wear it, and using good products to add hydration.💧

So here's your reminder to put some care into your hair and stay hydrated.👍

I bet there are a few things you wouldn't expect that every hairstylist understands🤔👇

1. Color marks, nope that isn't dirt that is indeed color that ended up on my arm and no we never know how this happens🤣

2. Bleach stains, again we never understand how this happens but that's why the black sharpie comes in handy.😉

3. Coffee in hand, this one explains itself. It's a necessity for most of us☕️

4. Fresh/healed cuts on fingers, this one is definitely a part of the trade and finger condoms don't seem so silly anymore once you start loosing count of the scars.👍

5. Hair splinters, YES I mean hair that is so coarse and thick it goes through the skin! It's a thing🤯

I'd love to hear from people who are not in the industry, which one of these was most surprising to you? Drop the number in the comments below👇

Are you feeling it yet?

Change is in the air, I can feel fall starting to make its way here and I can definitely tell all my clients that have been sitting in my chair are ready for that change too. I mean I don't blame you, I did a whole color change myself just last week😊

If you are feeling lost on where to start with this change ask yourself these questions👇
》1. Am I looking for something settle or something drastic?

》2. Am I wanting to see something lighter/brighter or something darker/deeper?

》3. Do I want something blended and soft or something bold or solid?

Once you start getting an idea from these answers, you can start to narrow down some possible color options and create a plan with your stylist(or me😁) from there!

Did this just instantly brighten your day!?🌈

I don't normally do rainbow hair buy I will for a select few and I have to say, I was so happy with these results 🙌

This was much more intricate to do than I expected😅 but sooooo worth the result!😍

》》Keep in mind that colors like this require a special kind of care like minimal washing, low to no heat styling, and rinsing in cooler water.👏

Drop a "🌈" in the comments below if have ever worn a vibrant color like this and tell me what color it was👇
