Job Title: Experienced Caregiver for Client with Stroke-related Weakness

Job Description:
We are seeking a mature and experienced caregiver, preferably a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or home care aide, with at least seven years of experience in home care to assist a client with right-sided weakness from a stroke. The caregiver should be capable of using a mechanical lift independently for some lifting tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the client with daily activities, including getting up, dressing, feeding breakfast, and other personal care tasks.
- Prepare and cook meals, as well as clean designated areas and assist with laundry.
- Follow a daily schedule provided by the client as a guide for the day's activities.
- Administer medication at designated times and ensure adherence to the medication schedule.
- Accompany the client to appointments, assist with transportation, and ensure safe return home.
- Work hours include 7 AM to 11 AM and/or 4 PM to 8 PM on select days, as well as every other weekend and occasional overnight shifts.

Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years of experience in home care, preferably with clients who have physical limitations.
- Ability to use a mechanical lift for lifting tasks and assist with personal care needs.
- Proficiency in meal preparation, household chores, and medication administration.
- Reliable transportation to commute to the client's home.
- Availability to work flexible hours as per the client's schedule.

Compensation:
- Rate: $17.25 per hour
- 48 hours per week available from Dors, with the option to split hours or work additional shifts.
- Preference for caregivers aged 40 or older with a compassionate and caring attitude.

Location:
The caregiving role will take place inside the client's home, where she lives independently but with her daughter nearby for support.
