Hey guys! I wanted to reintroduce myself since I have new followers 🥰
My name is Brittany, I am a Decatur Illinois based hairstylist that specializes in vivid colors.

I am located inside of Magickal Candles & Goodies By Ashley at 3130 N Woodford St.
I have been doing hair for about 10 years, I started in South Carolina, Moved on to Washington state & I have now been here since 2020.

I have a very laid back, none judgmental personality, I want you to feel like you are at home as soon as you sit in my chair, my clients are like family.

I have 4 dogs that are basically my children 💁‍♀️
Kodiak, Tungsten, Luna & Buffy.
They keep me on my toes lol.
My Partner Syd & I have been together going on 9 years now, he is always ready to help & support any new crazy ideas I have 🤪 bless his heart ❤️

I LOVE doing hair, however I equally love working with children as well, I work for Meridian School District & also Nanny 4 amazing kids in the summer time, I couldnt choose so I make both work!

I book up pretty fast, but once you are in the family, I make sure to accommodate!

Wow! What a year it has been!
Lets get vulnerable for a minute...

This time last year I opened my own home salon, I was NOT ready NOR prepared but I have a HUGE problem telling people no, so I booked appts anyway.

That being said, I am so truly thankful to the clients that have stuck with me, I am not perfect... no one is, actually. I will always go above and beyond for my hair family.

Yes, I should have been more prepared last year accepting appointments, when my home/salon was actually not ready & I was stressed to the max because I was in the middle of losing my babygirl Leia but when you guys want in, I made my best effort, youre my family & I have a hard time telling you no.

I didnt realize by doing this I would lose a couple of clients that I truly considered friends, but I still respectfully understand

That being said, going into 2026, I am healthier mentally/physically thn I have ever been & the salon is ready for all of my lovelies 💜

If I start doing pedicures again & selling custom "glue on" nails, would anyone be interested? I want to know before I buy a pedicure chair.
