Recently, I’ve seen more pieces being marketed as permanent jewelry that aren’t actually welded. Instead, they use locking jump rings that can be opened and removed without ever being welded closed.

There’s nothing wrong with that style of jewelry, but it’s important to know the difference before you buy.

True permanent jewelry is custom fit and welded closed. The quality of the chain, jump rings, and weld all matter when it comes to durability and longevity.

Before booking, ask questions:

✨ What materials are being used?
✨ Are your chains resourced from a reputable supplier?
