On Father's Day, It's important to remember that a father is someone to look up to, and someone who is always there for you. A man to celebrate your triumphs with, a friend to laugh with and sometimes a shoulder to cry on. A presence to aid in picking you back up when you're feeling especially down.

A dad is a perpetually positive influence. He helps shape who you will ultimately become, and he watches you grow into yourself with an immense amount of pride and unconditional love.

So this Father's Day, give your old man an especially long hug, or if it's long distance, a phone call, anything to thank him for being the best dad a kid(or grown up)could have.

Because while they don't do all they do so you'll thank them, a little bit of gratitude still goes a long way.
