Hope is never lost ... your life is worth fighting for. When I started, I stared at the scale and couldn't belive that I had gotten to that point .. how was I going to lose 100 pounds...I never set a date but stepping stones ... every 5, 10, 15 pounds at a time ... the only thing I knew was I had 3 little lives that deserved their mom healthy, not tired and not so sad. Along the way I have stumbled, but never failed ... every day is my own fight. This is a LIFESTYLE not a diet. Today, I'm 13 pounds away from my goal but my journey won't stop there ... so why aren't you joining me? Together let's move ... let's GEAUX ... let's be the best beautiful healthy versions of ourselves!!!

Are you trying to cut carbs but want a mid day snack .. these pepperoni poppers will surely hit the spot! 3 simple ingredients .. sliced pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and a japleno.... stack and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and bubbly ... let cool and enjoy!

Everyone asks me what "diet" I'm on ... I hate that word ... in order for you to get healthy you have to look at something like a lifestyle. So I love the words "way of eating" or WOE...For me I have to limit carbs and eat cleaner with higher protein to lose excess weight ... what's your WOE?

I've been reading so much on the news about celebrities either being fat shamed and skinny shamed ...here's the thing, I was once the girl who was really overweight, for various reasons, most important one was because I hated who I was on the inside so I ate. I ate when I was hungry, I ate when I was happy or sad or angry ... you get the pattern. I would make a joke about my appearance before someone else had the chance. I've been with people that I loved and had them call me fat ... ect ... I didn't get healthy for anyone but me, I changed my lifestyle for me .. but the thing is, no one should be allowed to be joked, mocked or hurt with words because someone see's them as too fat or too thin...love and acceptance go hand in hand and if you are concerned for someone's health, there are a variety of resources to obtain to seek help in talking to them and guiding them to a more healthy and active lifestyle if THEY chose. Shaming someone's body is not only awful but disgusting ... let people find their own path ... hopefully this page inspires someone who has been in my shoes and wants to do it for themselves....because at the end of the day I did it to live longer, and overweight or not overweight I am and was still beautiful!

Craving a sweet snack??? I'm not a huge sweets person but I do get those cravings from time to time ... and since I'm on a low carb diet, it's almost impossible for me to find anything that fixes the craving... until I stumbled onto these beauties ... just 2 net carbs for 2, not only is is low in carbs it's actually REALLY good!!!
