This evening I attended the “Midweek Harmony Reset” sound bath with Nautilus Sound and Wellness, guided by healer Elizabeth McCauley and it was exactly what I didn’t realize I needed.
What stood out most was the permission to simply be; to soften, to breathe, and to reconnect with my mind and body without expectation. The singing bowls created a sense of alignment within me, their frequencies seeming to meet the steady rhythm of my heartbeat.
At one point, I felt as though my body had gently melted into the floor beneath me, completely held, while colors and shapes moved softly behind my closed eyes. The layered sounds of singing bowls, drum, and rain just wrapped around me in a way that felt both grounding and expansive. I noticed subtle vibrations alternating between my left and right ear, like a quiet wave guiding me deeper inward.
This was only my second sound bath, but it offered a meaningful release. I allowed myself a moment to feel, to let go, and even to cry a little...something I clearly needed. There’s something powerful about being in a space where you’re supported in simply being with yourself.
Grateful for the experience and for the presence of a thoughtful and intentional guide.
