I did a combination of techniques on Drea. Taking 1/2 in sections alternating back combed slices or heavy weave leaving her natural out every other section to keep dimension through the back and then taking 1/2-1/4 inch partings and fine weave around the hairline and money piece.
I then toned using a Carmel level 6 for the first inch to four inches at back of crown melting that into a level 8 leaving the ends out and using a 10n with a few drops of 9 gold. (Color lush pravana) didn’t want to change her natural at all for longevity and shine.
