You can call Shannon a “boss.” After high school, she took the cosmetology program at Emily Griffith before heading to The Parlour. Always striving to be the best she can be, she got DevaCurl trained and received a curl specialist certificate. She’s been specializing in curly hair for over a decade, and seven years ago, she decided to make her love for curls a permanent fixture in Denver by starting her very own business - Curly Hair Denver, LLC.
 
When it comes to her process, Shannon believes in asking good questions.
 
“I want to know what my clients’ day-to-day is like and how much time they have and want to spend on their hair. That way, I can give them a hairstyle that fits their lifestyle and meets their expectations.”
 
After starting to wear her hair curly in 2010, Shannon took her time to understand how best to cut curly hair, so she put in the work! Now, she loves educating her clients on how to take care of their individual hair (wavy vs. curly), what products to use, and how to deal with Colorado’s dry weather.
 
What Shannon loves about Adorn is being around other talented stylists who are so different, yet everyone appreciates each other’s unique crafts. Adorn welcomes diversity, and it’s such a win-win. When she’s not busy working, Shannon’s a mom to her three kids and living her best Colorado life.

Watch out for this one😉 Always smiling and positively energetic…you will be charmed and never want to leave her chair! Heather knows how to bring that small-town approach to big city living. Having started her career in Salida before moving to Denver in the early 2000s, Heather was used to seeing the same clients every Friday. When she moved to Denver, she found it more fast-paced with different looks and styles to learn about, and as she continued to grow and evolve as a stylist, she also stayed true to her roots. And it’s this charm and knack for relationship building that Heather’s clients love about her.

“I like to sit and gather with my clients. I know that they appreciate being heard, and they become part of my family. The best part of my job is listening, building a relationship, and helping them look and feel beautiful.”

And Heather couldn’t be more excited to have found her salon home at Adorn.

“Adorn is such an inviting and welcoming environment; you want to stay and be a part of the atmosphere. The aura is just so great!”

You can find Heather at Adorn doing special occasion up-do’s, Yuko straightening, and styling hair for weddings, all while wearing her favorite stilettos. And when she’s not working, you can find Heather doing all of the best outdoor activities with her family — golfing, go-karts, and hockey!

✨A Magical Holiday Gift✨
Reid, his sister Meril, and his parents Shawn and Jodi Sibert have been long-time clients of our very own Candace LeClaire, who has witnessed just how difficult Reid's battle with cancer has been and the toll it has taken on the entire family.
Reid first started his battle with cancer at only 2yrs old. He had a quick remission, but shortly after was told he would have to go through chemo once again.
During remission Make a Wish had approved Reid and his family for a trip to Disney World, but then Covid hit, and Make a Wish was forced to cancel all travel!!!
He is now 6 years old and still in active chemo, which is some of the hardest days to live through. I believe that our community can raise enough money to still grant Reid his wish and give this family a trip of a lifetime..and a much-needed break from everyday life with cancer.

We would love to present this gift to Reid and his family on New Years Day to give celebration to the new year and something bright to look forward to!
