This incredible woman runs her own business in a male-dominated industry, works in roofing 𝘢𝘯𝘥 as a home inspector (with a background as a roofer herself!), and is a single mama raising a wonderfully energetic little boy — she’s basically 𝕎𝕠𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕎𝕠𝕞𝕒𝕟 in my eyes! 💪🏼💖

I don’t think I’ll ever forget the look on this model’s face when she saw her results. 🥹

This sweet soul took care of me through my first pregnancy — with so much tenderness, attention to detail, and the kind of humor that always left us both laughing until we cried! But life wears us down sometimes, and I could sense her light had dimmed a little since I’d last seen her.

I wanted to give her beautiful brows. However, more than that, I wanted to give her that light back. To help her see herself the way I see her: She’s sharp and hilarious, in a sneaky, quick-witted way! But she also has a gentleness about her. She’s warm and real. Vulnerable, and easy to let down your guard with. She cares about others and is always building them up — but she doesn’t save any of that generosity for herself. Working within her natural shape, I added definition and elegance with a hairstroke technique.

Watching her face soften as she looked in the mirror at the end of our appointment — that moment was everything. We both quickly wiped away tears as she finally saw the woman I’ve always seen. She told me this is going to change how she shows up in the world. And that was more than I could’ve hoped for 💗

When I asked this model about her goals for permanent makeup, her first words were: I just want to look ‘done.’ And as a fellow mom to young kids, girl, I can totally relate!

She came in with her natural brows intact and admitted she just wanted to look a bit more polished, feeling a little ashamed that she doesn’t do more to “keep up” with them. I assured her I neglect my own brows too — because, let’s be honest, we have much more important things to take care of! But that’s the beauty of permanent makeup: adding shape and definition keeps you looking polished while life keeps moving!

Instead of creating a completely new shape, this session was all about defining her natural brows — adding subtle enhancements while keeping everything natural and effortless. We did a Combination Brow, with delicate nano hair strokes in the front and soft definition with a powder ombré technique through the rest.

I was thrilled to see how this graceful, natural-looking brow framed her face perfectly, highlighting her features and bringing out the stunning shape of her big brown eyes! When she looked in the mirror at the end of her appointment, she said: “This is exactly what I wanted!” 🥰

I love that this amazing, working mama can wake up for the school drop off line on those rushed mornings, and feel just as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside!

Every woman has her own reason for wanting permanent makeup — and I could definitely relate to this one!

As a fellow millennial who grew up influenced by the eyebrows of Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani (thanks, early 2000s! 🙃), she was ready to reclaim what that decade took from us!

As a busy working mom, she didn’t have the time or inclination to fuss with brow makeup every day. She was clear from the start: she wanted to keep it subtle and natural. Anything but “done up”! And while she was excited about the ease and efficiency of permanent makeup, there was one person we really had to impress… Her pr***en daughter at home — the toughest critic of them all! 😂

Using the natural structure and anatomy of her face, we designed a soft, balanced shape that filled out her brows and complemented her already ✨stunning✨ features. It was so rewarding to see how a little gentle definition could enhance all of her natural beauty!
