🐝🌼 BIG NEWS FROM STORY COMMUNITY GARDEN! 🌼🐝

We are proud to announce that Story Community Garden (SCG) is officially participating in the Bee City USA and Xerces Society Pollinator Conservation Program! 💛🖤

After weeks of planning, soil building, planting, and community collaboration, we have successfully completed our Pollinator Garden! 🌻🦋🐝 This special space was designed to provide critical habitat and food sources for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other beneficial pollinators that help sustain our food systems and ecosystems.

This project represents our commitment to environmental stewardship, biodiversity, community education, and creating greener neighborhoods for future generations.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, supporters, community partners, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Together, we’re creating a healthier and more beautiful Detroit—one pollinator at a time.

Story Community Garden (SCG) is partnering with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and our community to bring more life, color, and pollinators back to our space!

We are coming together to plant pollinator-friendly plants that support bees, butterflies, and all the essential creatures that keep our ecosystem thriving.
